У них есть все основания, чтобы чувствовать себя "Гордыми как боги" с тех пор как к ним пришел сногшибательный успех на радио FFN и на телевизионном канале Viva в шоу "Local Heroes" в 1996 году. Теперь никуда не денешься от настоящего могущества этого квартета гитар из Гёттинга.
Любопытно, почему их карьера так круто взлетела за посление годы?
Ну, для начала, Stefan Ude (бас), Dennis Poschwatta (ударные), Henning Ruemenapp (гитара) и Sandra Nasic, обаятельная солистка с устрашающим голосом, круто завоевали всю Германию своим туром по стране, да так, что термин "пришельцы" стал для них самым подходящим в 1998 году.
Guano Apes завоевали сердца всех фанатов, а пресса полюбила их так быстро, что иногда даже со слишком большим энтузиазмом. В февральском выпуске журнала VISIONS Guano Apes были названы "Лучшим открытием года", а также громко заявили о себе в других номинациях (например, лучшая песня, лучшая солистка и т.д.). Кроме того, ежегодный обозреватель Intro назвал их первыми в той же самой категории.
